You take care of your child, we’ll take care of the rest.
When faced with a critically or terminally ill child, their constant care becomes a parent’s immediate priority. This can mean days, weeks or months by a hospital bed providing comfort and care while talking to the constant stream of Doctors, Nurses and Specialists.
During this stressful time, it is easy to forget about one’s own health and wellbeing. Taking time away from a sick child, even for a minute can be terrifying for both parties and access to balanced meals in a children’s hospital can be very limited for those who aren’t patients.
The Scarlett May Foundation provides meal support to the parents and families of critically ill children. We provide nourishing, healthy, allergy and diet sensitive meals, so parents can maintain their strength without the need to leave the side of their child.
